Damir Dado Mihajlovic participated in the tournament 'KIRU 2 - In The Spirit of the Knights' which was held in Germany on May 29th, 2010. where he defeated BJJ black belt Farbod Fadami via guillotine choke in the first round.

FENIX BJJ TOURNAMENT IN SWEDEN

A member of Family Fight Team, Vukoti´c Marko, achieved tremendous success in the recently held BJJ tournament "Fenix BJJ Tournament" which took place in Sweden, May 15th-16th, 2010. Marko won the gold medal in -88kg division.

GRAPPLING  TOURNAMENT  IN  HUNGARY

FFT (Family Fight Team) achieved another tremendous success in the recently held grappling tournament in Hungary by winning 5 medals (2 gold,1 silver and 2 bronze medals). Three outstanding Family Fight Team members, Milos Obradovi´c (won 1 gold and 1 bronze medal), Luka
Strezoski (won 1 gold and 1 bronze medal) and Ivan Jurkovi´c (won 1 silver medal) stood out among the rest with their stunning performance, thus helping every other member of our team to show exceptional grit, good physical conditionong and high-level technique.

OCTAGON IN SARAJEVO

Damir and Bojan Mihajlović are participating in the tournament "Octagon in Sarajevo " which is going to be held at the Olympic Indoor Sports Center on April 24th, 2010. The show will include world class MMA and K-1 fighters Semmy Schilt, Alistair Overeem, Stefan Leko, etc. along with our two fighters. Bojan's opponent is going to be Ringmasters Olympia Champion, Michel Andrade, while Damir Mihajlović will be facing the former Cage Rage Light Heavyweight Champion, Paul Cahoon.

"LUTA LIVRE" CHAMPIONSHIP ISRAEL 2009

Damir Mihajlovic and Vladimir Mandic represented both Serbia and Family Fight Team in the best possible way in the recently held Luta Livre tournament in Israel by winning 4 medals (3 golds and 1 silver). They both dominated their weigt classes by winning gold medals (Damir Mihajlovic won the gold medal in -90kg division and Vladimir Mandic won gold in -80kg division). Their performance in the absolute category brought them two more medals - Damir Mihajlovic went on to pick up another gold medal and Vladimir Mandic won the silver medal.

"LUTA LIVRE SUBMISSION" Novi Sad 2009

Serbian Open Championship 'LUTA LIVRE SUBMISSION' attracted a large number of both spectators and competitors. Family Fight Team members dominated one of the best tournaments in the country, winning 23 medals (the total number of medals for the tournament was 28 medals).

Together, Family Fight Team members won a total of 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 12 bronze medals.

FAMILY FIGHT TEAM organizes Serbian Open Championship ‘LUTA LIVRE SUBMISSION' in Novi Sad
( SPENS, Sala JK ‘Slavija' ) on May 9 th , 2009 .

- Official weigh-ins will take place at 11h and the tournament will start at 12h.

- Fights will be held under Luta Livre rules.

- There will be A division and B (beginners) division

- The registration fee for the tournament is 10 €.

GOLD AND BRONZE AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Two outstanding Family Fight Team members - Mihailo Smiljanić and Miloš Obradović, once again managed to prove their quality and dominate the recently held European Championship tournament. Mihailo Smiljanić won the gold medal in +100kg division and Miloš Obradovi ć won the bronze in -85kg.division.

“MMA – PROKUPLJE”

The MMA tournament that was held in Prokuplje gave Bojan Mihajlovi ć a chance to prove his dominance in our heavyweight division against very experienced and skilled MMA fighter Saša Lazić. In the main event of the evening, even though his opponent was one of the most recognized fighters in Serbia, Bojan Mihajlović managed to control every aspect of the fight and win a unanimous decision with ease.

“BMMAF - WARRIORS 5”

Damir Mihajlović participated in the MMA tournament BMMAF - WARRIORS 5 which took place in Bulgaria. His opponent was the best Bulgarian fighter, top class wrestler, a former Olympian and the first Bulgarian mixed martial artist to fight in the world's strongest MMA organization Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Jordan Radev.

After a very close fight, Radev was the winner via decision. Dado once again proved that he is capable of confronting the world's best MMA fighters and that it was extremely tough to decide the winner in this fight.

“BRAZIL - SECOND TIME AROUND”

Bojan and Damir Mihajlovi ć, together with Luka Strezoski, visited the home of Brazilian Jiu - Jitsu and NHB fights for the second time. They improved their knowledge through trainings in famous De la Riva Academy with some of the biggest names in the world of NHB and ground fighting, Daniel D'Dane and Alexandre Pequeno. They also brought home knowledge of Luta Livre and thus became the first and only official representatives of this martial art in Serbia.

 

“ CROATIAN OPEN GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP 2 ”

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament - Croatian Open Grappling Championship that was held in Zagreb on May 24 th , 2008.attracted a very strong competition of BJJ practitioners. Two outstanding Family Fight Team members, Milos Obradović and Mihailo Smiljanić, stood out among the rest with their physical conditioning, high-level technique and their exceptional performance. Miloš Obradović won a silver medal in the division -88kg and Mihailo Smiljanić won the bronze in +100kg division.

“KULA OPEN 2008”

FFT (Family Fight Team) achieved another tremendous success in the recently held grappling tournament “KULA OPEN 2008” which took place in Kula, on Sunday, May 18, 2008. Our team once again dominated the event and was by far the most successful team in the tournament...
